WHAT IS A SEXUAL ASSAULT PROGRAM?

It is a public or private non-profit organization whose mission and purpose is to address the issue of sexual violence within their community and respond to the needs of all people in that community who have experienced and/or been impacted by sexual violence.

SEXUAL ASSAULT SERVICES

Sexual assault is NEVER the survivor's fault. Our goal is to empower survivors in re-establishing security and control over their lives.

ADVOCACY

  • Medical accompanimentto hospitals and doctor/nurse visits after an assault

  • Court accompaniment: to support the survivor through the legal and judicial process

  • Law enforcement accompaniment: to accompany clients to law enforcement interviews

  • Resources: to assist with completing applications such as a Crime Reparations Application

CASE MANAGEMENT

The sexual assault advocate assists you with setting and reaching goals such as assistance with orders of protection or applying for public benefits.

SEXUAL ASSAULT SUPPORT GROUPS

We offer support group meetings in 4 locations, as well as, individual sessions for trauma survivors to provide information and resources to empower victims in becoming a survivor.

EMERGENCY SHELTER

This service is open to sexual assault survivors regardless of age, sex, religion, ethnicity, or financial status.

RESOURCES AND/OR REFERRALS

Referrals to other service providers to help survivors overcome the trauma of sexual violence are available.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is offered for appointments, applying for benefits, employment and other goal-oriented tasks.

24-HOUR CRISIS HOTLINE

Our 1-888-836-0325 hotline is available to male and female survivors of sexual trauma receive information and emotional support from our team.
